Editorial policy

Our principles, our editorial chain, our correction policy, our use of AI, and the sources we trust.

Last updated 24 June 2026

Our principles

  1. Player-first. Every editorial decision is taken from the player's perspective. If a feature helps the operator and hurts the player, we say so.
  2. Verifiable. Every number, every claim, every quoted line of operator terms is verifiable against a public source.
  3. Honest. If we cannot confirm a fact, we leave it out. If we make a mistake, we correct it on the same URL with a visible note.
  4. Independent. Affiliate income funds the site. It does not direct the editorial.
  5. Responsible. Every page acknowledges that gambling is for adults, can be harmful, and is best done with limits in place.

The editorial chain

Sipho researches, drafts, and submits. Nomvula fact-checks every numerical claim against the operator's live terms, every licence against the provincial gambling board, every promo code against the operator's promotion page on the day of publication. If a fact cannot be verified, it is removed. Once Nomvula signs off, the page is built and pushed.

Corrections

If we publish something incorrect we will:

  • Fix it on the same URL within 24 hours of being notified.
  • Add a visible "Correction" note at the top of the article describing what changed.
  • Update the "Last updated" date.
  • Where the original error was material (a wrong RTP, a wrong promo amount, a wrong licence number), explain how the error happened.

Report corrections to help@spinazonke.io.

Use of AI

SpinaZonke.io does not use generative AI to write reviews, slot pages or promotional copy. AI tools are used for spell-checking, link checking, and image compression. Every published word was written by a human on the editorial team.

Sources we trust

  • The operator's own terms and promotion pages (always the primary source for bonus values, promo codes, and house rules).
  • The relevant provincial gambling board licence register (the source of truth for licence status).
  • The National Gambling Board (for sector-wide statistics).
  • The South African Responsible Gambling Foundation (for support information).
  • The game provider's public RTP and feature documentation (for slot data).
