Monthly total: R3,600,000 across roughly 13 race nights. SAST is UTC+2 and South Africa does not observe daylight saving, so the times above are valid year-round. The race runs only at Hollywoodbets, on Habanero titles only. Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Yggdrasil and the rest of the lobby do not count toward leaderboard position.
How qualification works
Open a Hollywoodbets account, FICA-verify it, deposit, and place at least one R2 spin on any Habanero slot inside the race window. That puts you on the leaderboard. Position is calculated by total spin value during the window, multiplied by an internal factor that rewards consecutive spins on eligible games. Hollywoodbets publishes the formula on the promotion page, read it before you assume R2 spins beat R20 spins on volume.
Which slots qualify
Only Habanero titles. Pragmatic Play and other providers do not count. The Habanero workhorses that drive most leaderboard climbs are Hot Hot Fruit, Mystic Fortune Deluxe, Wild Trucks, and Rolling Roger. Bet sizing affects your race position but not your slot RTP, the games pay back the same percentage whether you stake R2 or R20.
Prize structure
The top of the leaderboard takes the biggest single prize. The tail takes smaller R50 to R500 cash prizes. The Saturday race has the deepest payout structure at 275 winners for R400,000, which means the median prize is roughly R200 to R500 for mid-leaderboard finishers. The Wednesday and Friday races pay 195 winners for R250,000, slightly thinner.
