Red Tiger's plinko-electric-coins hybrid. Cash symbols carry multipliers, the Power-Up bonus drops them onto a pin board, and the free spins layer everything together. 95.71% RTP, medium volatility and a 2,500x ceiling.

What you need to know

Cash Volt is Red Tiger's take on a collect game, and it is simpler than it looks. It runs on 5x3 reels with 20 lines, but the part that matters is the Cash Volt symbol: land six or more anywhere and you win an instant stake multiple, from 5x for six up to 2,500x for a full screen of 15.

Super Cash Volt symbols arrive as 2x2 or 3x3 blocks, and each square counts as a separate symbol, which is how the bigger counts come together. Red Tiger lists the RTP at 95.71% with medium volatility. It is not a Habanero game, so it does not count for the Hollywoodbets Jackpot Race.

Quick verdict, pros and cons

What works

  • RTP of 95.71% sits in the standard SA band. Nothing to write home about, nothing to apologise for.
  • Medium volatility is the SA mainstream sweet spot. Wins land often enough to keep the session alive, and big enough to justify the stake.
  • Live in the lobby at 4 of the operators we cover, so welcome-bonus shopping is genuinely on the table.

What does not

  • Not on the Jackpot Race list, so the only prizes are the ones in the paytable.
  • Standard slot maths. Treat as entertainment, budget accordingly.

How Cash Volt plays

Cash Volt runs as a standard Red Tiger Gaming reel set with the usual SA slot trimmings: 5x3 reels, 20 lines, six or more cash volt symbols pay an instant stake prize, super cash volt symbols in 2x2 and 3x3 sizes, fifteen cash volt symbols pay 2,500x. Stakes start at R0.50 a spin. You set the stake with the plus and minus buttons, and the paytable inside the game shows the current values for your stake.

RTP, volatility and the maths

The published RTP is 95.71%, the long-run average return over a theoretical infinity of spins. You will not be playing infinite spins. In practice a punter playing a R200 deposit at R0.50 a spin should expect a mix of small hits and the occasional 20x to 100x line win. Max win is 2,500x stake, a once-in-a-lifetime statistical event, so screenshot it if it lands. Red Tiger Gaming can supply more than one RTP version of a game, and the operator chooses which one it runs. The figure above is the published default. The info screen inside the game, at your operator, shows the version you are actually playing.

Playing Cash Volt on mobile

Cash Volt is an HTML5 game, so it runs in the mobile browser at every operator in the table without a separate app. Most SA operators also offer a data-saving or lite version of their site that trims the lobby, not the game. The reels and the paytable are the same on a phone as on a desktop.

Not Jackpot Race eligible

This slot is not on the Habanero Jackpot Race list. The race runs on Habanero titles only, and only at Hollywoodbets. If chasing the race is your reason for playing, switch to Hot Hot Fruit or Mystic Fortune Deluxe.

Where our Cash Volt figures come from

The RTP, volatility, reel layout and maximum win for Cash Volt come from Red Tiger's Cash Volt page, checked 10 October 2026. Where the provider and the aggregator databases disagree, the provider wins. We do not claim to have verified an RTP by playing it. That takes millions of spins, and anyone telling you their short session confirmed one is guessing. The demo at the top of this page is the provider's own game, served through SlotsLaunch, so you can check the bonus round and the paytable yourself.
