Standard EFT is the regular interbank transfer from your bank app to the operator's account. Every SA bookmaker on this site accepts it. It is the method to use when the deposit is bigger than the R50,000 Ozow cap, or when you have already opted out of online banking 2FA for the day. It is also the method most operators use to pay withdrawals.
How a Standard EFT deposit works at SA bookmakers
- At the cashier pick EFT or 'Bank Transfer'.
- Copy the operator's bank account number and the unique deposit reference.
- Open your banking app, set up the operator as a beneficiary, paste the reference exactly.
- Send the deposit. Smaller amounts clear same day, larger amounts can take up to 48 hours.
- Withdrawals reverse the process. Operator sends to the FICA-verified bank account on file.
